| At Atlantic Urological Associates, fees are determined by the complexity of the diagnosis, treatment and course management for the individual patient. Payment is generally made at the time of your appointment unless prior arrangements have been made. Our office will file primary claims (such as Medicare) for you. We also participate with most national, local, and preferred provider plans, among them:
We offer several other payment options as well: Master Card, VISA, Discover, American Express and personal checks. Many times we are also able to file claims with your secondary insurance provider. If not, we provide you with the details of the services you received, so that you can use the appropriate information to file the claim with your insurance company. Patients without insurance coverage are responsible for all charges incurred. Payment in full at the time of service is expected and customary. If financial assistance is necessary, we may be able to make payment arrangements that are mutually agreeable. |
