Dr Brown completed his premedical education at Johns Hopkins University and received his medical degree from West Virginia University in 1973. He finished his residency in urology at the University of Miami in 1978. Dr. Brown began private practice in the Daytona Beach area in 1978. He received his Masters in Business Administration from the University of South Florida in 1997.

Dr. Brown is certified by the American Board of Urology, is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons, and an Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida School of Medicine. He is a member of the American Urological Association, the Florida Urologic Society, the Florida Medical Association, the Volusia County Medical Society, the American Lithotripsy Society, and the American College of Physician Executives

Dr. Brown has held various professional appointments throughout his career. He is a former President of the Southeastern Section of the American Urological Association. He has served as Chairman of the Committee on Applicants for the American College of Surgeons, and is a Past Chairman for the Department of Urology at both Halifax Medical Center and Memorial Hospital. Dr. Brown also serves as a Charter Coordinator for the Organ Donor Program at Halifax Medical Center.

He practices in our Daytona and Port Orange offices.
