Dr. Maruniak is a native Floridian currently living in Leesburg with his wife and two boys. He attended college at Florida State University and medical school at the University of Florida. He did a residency in pathology at Brown University in Rhode Island after which he began private practice in 1987. Dr. Maruniak has specialized in Urologic Pathology since 1996. He is board certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, is a fellow of the College of American Pathologists and a member of both the Florida Society of Pathologists and the International Society of Urologic Pathologists.
